Goodwood museum honoring design participants for The Memorial to the Enslaved

Goodwood Museum & Gardens is holding a public reception to honor the participants of the recent design competition for The Memorial to the Enslaved at Goodwood.

Applicants, jurors, and committee members will be celebrated for their contribution towards the progression of the project thus far. The event will be held from 5:30-6:30 pm Wednesday, March 30, in the Main House, 1600 Miccosukee Road.

The memorial will serve as a lasting tribute to those individuals, named and unnamed, who lived and toileted in bondage at Goodwood and to their descendants.
