In fact, in a recent NASSCOM survey report, about two-thirds of the CEOs who participated in the survey said that they expected digital talent to constitute 50% of new hires. The career services team worked relentlessly with these ambitious youngsters on their interview skills, portfolios etc. as cracking the jobs wasn’t a cakewalk in the pandemic. This rigour worked in favorite of the students as they landed job profiles of their choice. Akshita Mehrotra from Pearl Academy, New Delhi who received a placement at Gartner as a Graphic Designer said, “The key aspects of the job profile I like the most are curating designs for the clients and developing new design concepts & ideas as per the briefs” .

Any advice for their juniors and peers? Collaboration, self-confidence, time-management, an open and curious mind, willingness to learn new things besides domain knowledge are key skills to ace any placement, feel these youngsters.
