The Duchess of Cambridge cut a sophisticated figure as she walked around Cardiff Castle today (Saturday, June 4) in a vibrant orange dress with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. This trip comes as it was revealed that Her Majesty planned to send the senior royals to the four corners of the UK to see how her historic Platinum Jubilee her was being celebrated.
Huge crowds came out to greet the family of four as they met with performers and crew involved in the special Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert taking place in the castle grounds later this afternoon. While both The Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte were handed a number of bouquets, eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted an unbelievably sweet message tucked into one of Catherine’s bunches of flowers.

As the family was preparing to leave Cardiff Castle, The Duchess of Cambridge gave the crowds a final wave as she clutched a beautifully wrapped bouquet of flowers. A sweet note was spied by fans on social media that personally thanked Catherine for her tireless work her in promoting the importance of caring for our mental health.
Both The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have long been vocal advocates for the importance of speaking out about your mental health and how you are feeling. They previously set up the mental health organization Heads Together in 2016 and later expanded their work by launching the hotline Shout.
As well as this, Catherine is highly regarded for her interests in physical wellbeing, children’s development and mental health. And, as a result, she has already made a name for herself for her impressive work. She previously launched The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood in June last year and set up the successful ‘Big 5’ survey which helped us to learn about the first five years of a child’s life.
The Duchess has also spent the last 10 years examining how social challenges such as addiction, mental health and homelessness affect someone as they grow up. In February, Catherine traveled to Copenhagen to build on her work her as it is well-known that Denmark are considered pioneers in their approach to early development and are consistently named as one of the top five countries in the world to raise a family.
The thoughtful message also went down very well with royal fans online who were quick to share their praise. One person said : “That was a lovely message, I hope she reads it and see how well she is appreciated for her work.” Another agreed, saying: “Aww how thoughtful, she really does a lot for mental health.” A third added: “Awwww…. she deserves that beautiful message.”
The family of four visited Cardiff Castle to meet performers and crew involved in the special Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert taking place in the castle grounds later this afternoon. It is understood that the family viewed rehearsals and meet some of the acts taking part in the celebrations, including Bonnie Tyler and Owain Wynn Evans, West End performers, Rubicon Dance Company and the Wales Youth Choir for Good.
The trip to Wales comes after it was announced that Her Majesty was sending the seven senior royals to the four corners of the UK to see exactly how the monumental Platinum Jubilee was being marked. Yesterday (Friday, June 3) we saw Princess Anne travel to Scotland and today The Earl and Countess of Wessex are currently in Northern Ireland.
